I have orbital rim implants & want to get rhino to make my nose narrower, break nasal bones and bring them closer together what if the implants are placed so close to the nasal bones? I always see the nose job bruises under the eyes and I wonder if my implants may make the bruising worse. I wanna know if the nasal bones can be broken with the implants intact

Hello,Thanks for your question. Tip graft resorption is quite rare. The most common scenario would be an infection that eats up the graft. Being that post-rhinoplasty infection is rare enough, graft resorption itself is rare enough. Good luck on the revision.Dr. Shah
Yes, the nasal bones can float around somewhat in the first two weeks following a rhinoplasty. The first week they are held in place by the splint. I ask my patients to apply gentle pressure, symmetrically, to both sides of the nasal dorsum to help maintain the properly narrowed appearance....
The tip is the last to go, especially if you had an open rhinoplasty. Be patient. You will get reassurance from your surgeon if you call him/her, but will likely just here that it is too early to make any conclusions. It always gets better, but it takes time. Don't panic.
