Nipple piercing during surgery.

do not actually recommend doing a nipple piercing at the same time as your
breast augmentation.  I suggest waiting
until you are healed from your augmentation for a nipple piercing.  In theory, a Plastic Surgeon can do this, but
most likely they will not do it at the time of surgery.  I hope this helps. 

I would hold off on any piercing until you are completely healed.  Piercing the nipples could increase the risk of infection and its completely not worth it.

I am empathetic with your concern. I advise my patients to wait six weeks after breast augmentation surgery to get a new nipple piercing. Infection is the concern. For more information on this and similar topics, I recommend a plastic surgery Q&A book like "The Scoop On Breasts: A Plastic Surgeon Busts the Myths." 

Although it would be possible and a plastic surgeon would be able to do it, I for one would prefer not to, at the same time as breast implant surgery.  My fear would be for the remote chance that the nipples become infected from the piercing.  I would say it would be best to delay it until the you have healed from the implant surgery.  This is purely a judgment call and am sure that there are other plastic surgeons that would say it is fine.Good luck.

I would not recommend nipple piercing during breast augmentation surgery due to increased risk of complications to your implants from possible infection.  Best to either do ahead of time and fully heal (6 months before) or do minimum 6 months after breast augmentation. Best of luck to you

Thank you for your question. I recommend waiting until after you have healed from your BA surgery before having your nipples pierced. Doing so during your surgery or before you have fully healed can cause an increased risk of infection and put your sterile implants at risk. Better to wait and have that done in the office.

There is no problem with a Plastic Surgeon to pierce your nipples under anesthesia as long as you both agree and there is a consent to do so in writing.

will increase your risks for possible contamination of your implant and its simply not worth the risk.  Get your implant and after you are healed and your capsule well formed, then have your surgeon do it for you in the office.  I don't charge my patients for piercings after procedures but not everyone will agree with that so ask your surgeon.  My patients bring in studs I sterilize for the procedure and the procedure is done under the same conditions that office procedures are done under.
