Nipple discoloration after breast lift and augmentation, 1 day post op. Is this normal? (photos)

 Compromised circulation to the nipple and Areola is always a concern after breast lift. Most of the time the circulation is very dependable and works just fine but every once in a while we see  what you are seeing. It sounds like your doctor is taking all of the appropriate steps. The chamber may help as well as the Nitropaste that it sounds like your doctor is applying. I would probably keep that paste  going ,applying it 2-3 times a day but as always, check with your surgeon. They will help you along the way but unfortunately it is something that all of us see on occasion. And the good news  is your shape and result looks really good!  Stick with your surgeon. Patients come to us and pay us to get the results they want but they also do so that we can take care of any issues that may arise!

Dear jessicamarquez124,I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment it would be difficult to determine what is wrong.
