I’m still very early post op, about a week. I know swelling and discoloration is normal after this procedure but I have yet to see any nipples on here look quite like this.. my left nipple is looking pretty normal but my right is unrecognizable to me. I’m wondering if this is normal or if I should be worried...
Answer: Nipple deformity I am not sure, but I think you seem to have more swelling in your right side and that swelling is pushing your nipple out more since the nipple area is more loose than the rest of the skin in this kind of lift. I think as the swelling goes away the nipple will get more normal Check in with your surgeon. Good luck.

Answer: Breast lift and augmentation results Dear nicolemichelleeee,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process at 1 week post op.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Healing It is not unusual at this stage for there to be asymmetry and it will take a number of months for all the swelling to settle.

Answer: Nipple looks completely deformed You are still very early in your recovery, however, without an in-person examination, it is impossible to determine if anything abnormal is developing. It is important that you are following your surgeon’s post-operative instructions to ensure the best results. We recommend scheduling a follow up appointment with your surgeon to further discuss your concerns.

Answer: Assymetry after surgery Thank you for your question. It is usual that each side looks a little different after surgery. I tell my patients that they are sisters not twins. That being said, I would discuss these concerns with your surgeon. You are very early after surgery and what I see on the picture is well within the normal healing process. We really can't say anything final about the result for at least 6 t 8 weeks. So keep the faith and it should resolve on its own soon.
