I am wondering if I am experiencing normal scabbing of my areola and nipple or if this appears to be something more serious such as an infection or necrosis? I am 1 week and 5 days post-op and have had no complications aside from this. I am not in any pain and do not have a fever. My PS said that this is all normal scabbing which will fall off and some of the scab has fallen off this past week. However I am still concerned about the top of the areola and with how flat the nipple is. Thank you!
