Microdot Bumps and Holes After Fractional Laser - Will This Resolve on Its Own? (photo)

 In my opinion, looking at these tiny dots caused by this type of laser,I do not find it unusual. Everyone has a slightly different rate of healing time. These dots may also feel slightly rough or dry to the touch. Keep your skin hydrated and remain patient during this healing process. These tiny little spots should resolve themselves within the next several weeks.

Do you know the type of machine that was used on you? Fractional lasers, what they are intended to do, is remove only very small areas on the surface (so the pinpots you mention) and then most of the treatment occurs under the skin. I see in your photo what you're talking about, but I do think it should clear up. Depending on the depth of the machine, and the energy used, we tell people it can take several weeks to fully heal, and several months to see long-term effects. If you can find out the laser company that makes the machine used on you, you might also want to contact them yourself. While your doctor may not have seen this before, maybe they can offer you some advice. I can tell from your pinpoints that I don't use the same machine in my office.
