All went well and smoothly! I received a tummy tuck. From start to finish, I have no complaints! Care was excellent and thorough. Outcome is I feel my core looks great again! No more loose skin from pregnancies!
Dr. Manolis is an excellent surgeon. I feel so fortunate to haven chosen Dr. Manolis. Not only is Dr. Manolis very caring and personable, but his skill level is stellar. I had BBL, Myellevate, and liposuction and the outcome proves Dr. Manolis has a level of advanced knowledge when it comes to cutting edge technology and techniques. Mary and his staff are conscientious, dependable and extremely proactive. I would definitely return to Dr. Manolis, as well as recommend him to friends and family. He is surrounded with a team of very friendly, supportive and professional associates that truly make you feel like family.
Dr. Manolis and his office staff are all very friendly and professional. They make you feel comfortable and answer all your questions. Dr. Manolis is a wonderful surgeon and would recommend him to others.
This is a thorough but hopefully not too wordy overview of my brachioplasty from surgery date to 7 weeks post-op. I have been self conscious about my upper arms for the entirety of my adult life and decided for my 30th birthday, I was finally going to get a brachioplasty. I tried two cycles of coolsculpting 8 weeks apart with no change so that was the catalyst for booking a consultation with a plastic surgeon.9/20/2021 was the date of my surgery with Dr. Evan Manolis. Day one wasn’t bad! I got a prescription for norco but ended up not having to take any. The pain was very manageable, actually pretty minimal. The surgery took just under 2 hours. It was a very subdued, intermittent, pain that I would rate about a 1/10. I took two Tylenol before bed and slept on my back with two pillows under my arms for around 2 weeks.Around a week post op, I wore mostly robes and zip up hoodies. I was very itchy and the bandages were also hot, but besides the mild discomfort from that, pain was almost nonexistent. They were more sore when they weren’t compressed with the bandages, but when they’re wrapped, I had basically no pain. Some mild discomfort in my armpit from where the wraps sit but that’s about it. ROM overhead and reaching out was still a tiny bit limited, still couldn’t comfortably sleep on my sides. I took one week off of work and for me, that was enough. I do not do heavy lifting at my job.9/30/2021 is when I noticed some openings, two spots near the armpit on the right arm where the suture is visible and one on the left. My right arm overall healed slower and had some little openings. The surgeon said just keep them covered with a bandaid and use bacitracin and that it was normal bc armpits are always moving. The steri strips were coming loose and I just took them off when they started peeling after showers.10/9/2021: At the 2 week mark, I stopped using elevation to sleep at night and have been able to sleep on my sides a bit. On 10/5, I finally removed all the steri strips. I had a few openings that I used bacitracin on and kept covered. Definitely felt less tugging with ROM at this point. I saw my plastic surgeon and he removed 3 stitches that were poking out and gave me some silicone scar gel to start using.10/24/2021 I have no pain, the skin stretching sensation in my armpits when I raise my arms is gone, I can sleep on both sides no problem. I worked out for the first time in 4 weeks, just lower body, with no issues, felt great! Left arm is completely sealed up, right arm was still spitting sutures here and there. I still keep them wrapped in ACE bandages at night and elbow length compression sleeves in the daytime.11/13/2021, 7 weeks post op I am functioning totally normally. Arms are completely sealed up and there aren’t any more spitting or abscessed sutures. I’ve been going to the gym for about 2 weeks and have not had any issues. I still wear the compression sleeves and ace bandages at night but I’ve been letting my arms breathe more around the house.I have to make an 8 week follow up still and see if I can ditch the compression bc I’m kind of sick of them lol. Scars are fading. I am still applying the Silagen once daily. I have more videos and close-ups of the healing on my Instagram, search disarmingly.open. I am happy to answer any questions! I am 100% satisfied with the procedure and couldn’t be happier with the results.
I went in for questions about my umbilical hernia and was curious about some tucking after having six kids and I could not be happier with my decision to move forward with the surgery. I've never had surgery and was so stressed and afraid about the scarring and the recovery but they made me feel so comfortable, confident and stress free moving forward. Speaking to Mary and telling me about her experience, and showing me her scar made me feel so much better about the end results and I appreciate that. Ana is so kind and an awesome cheer leader to have and Dr Manolis is the sweetest kindest most caring gentlemen. His realness is the best too! Literally tells you how it is with a dash of what you want to hear to make you feel better which I appreciate alot! I'm about 6 weeks post op and very happy with the results so far. I still have some swelling and the scar still gets me but I know it's a process. No more stretchy skin, no more hernia and I actually have a belly button now. I'm very happy I went with Dr manolis and his team. They are the best and I totally recommend.
I could never, ever, EVER express the amount of gratitude and appreciation I feel for Dr. Manolis. Of course, this is his business, but it truly feels like you (as a patient) receive more than that. As soon as you step foot into the office, you're greeted by friendly receptionists and a clean waiting area. Typically, you'll see Dr. Manolis going from one patient room to another, but let me tell you from experience that he will give you exactly as much time as you need to be reviewed and answer ALL of your questions or concerns. The staff is equally friendly and attentive and I could not have found a better surgeon to help me on my weight loss + body contouring journey. This is a simple review, but please consider reading on if you want my full experience. A personal anecdote and how I came to find Dr. Manolis. About 8 years ago my mom had a tummy tuck + muscle repair by Dr. Manolis (the scar and work still looks amazing) and it was about the same time that I had decided to start my own journey. I was 20/21 years old and weighed close to 400lbs. I started a program that would soon allow me to have a VSG (bariatric surgery not with Dr. Manolis) and I got down to about 190/200 lbs about two years later. After maintaining the weight loss for a number of years, I decided that I was finally ready to start my "plastics"/body contouring. I went to see Dr. Manolis, after seeing how well my mom's surgery went, and the whole process was relatively simple to get a consultation and set up an appointment. Hell, I wasn't available until about 7 PM (outside of their normal business hours) but Dr. Manolis and Mary (cosmetic liaison and godsend of a human being) were both willing to wait for us to arrive and see me. As excited as I was to get started...I had a LONG list of things I wanted to fix because I had excess skin everywhere and a truly misshapen body after losing that much weight. Dr. Manolis was kind, patient, but also realistic. My body contouring process would take time and multiple surgeries if I wanted to come out of it looking truly good and not botched; it would take at least 4 to let my body settle and see how to best process. The first (in 2018) and biggest surgery was a lower body lift. Dr. Manolis removed skin about 3 feet long and almost 2 feet wide from my belly to my back. Recovery was painful, uncomfortable, and I am so grateful that I had a family to care for me because I then understood exactly what Dr. Manolis meant by being realistic and patient. Mary was consistent in checking in with me to see how I was doing and I had constant follow-ups with Dr. Manolis for a few months. At one point, the scar was healing nicely except for in my side where the wound wasn't healing, sometimes this happens, and I sent Mary a text at almost midnight, where she responded right away and I saw Dr. Manolis the next day. Truly, the whole experience was wonderful and when I finally saw my body without the faja about a month and a half later (I waited for the surprise) I cried. My second and most recent procedure was a lipo to my upper and lower belly, flanks, sides/muffin top, upper back, lower back and arms, fat transfer to the top of my buttocks, and a lipo+lift to my pubic mound. In saving up money, plus COVID, I was unable to have this procedure as soon as I wanted to, but it has been another great experience nonetheless. This one has been a much quicker recovery time, I was up and about the day after surgery though my mom and family kept sending me to sit! Also, a perfect example of why you should listen to your doctor (especially Dr. Manolis). In my last surgery, there was so much excess skin around my pubic are/belly, and I had already been "under the knife" for so long that my body got so swollen, the doctor could only remove so much. 3 years later, with this surgery, he was able to remove that last bit of excess skin he couldn't in the last surgery and I'm so happy to be able to wear pants without the fupa/camel toe issue! As before, this surgery is body contouring to see how I will settle, and already we're making plans for my next surgery to tackle other body parts. Sometimes my family questions why I don't just go to a doctor outside of the country where it's going to be much cheaper and I could get everything done at once and be done with it. The answer is simple; I want a doctor I can trust to look out for my best interests in terms of health and my body goals, and one that will always be available to me if something goes wrong. I wouldn't trade Dr. Manolis, Mary, or the rest of the Orland Park Plastic Surgery team for anything in the world; they have truly, TRULY given me hope and the ability to say I feel beautiful on the outside as well as in.
I have been going to Dr. Manolis for over two years now for my Botox because I am extremely happy with my results. It lasts up to 3 months. I shopped around before and I finally found a Dr. that didn't leave my face bruised and whatever brand Botox he uses seems to last longer than the other places I had previously gone to. Dr. Manolis and his staff are very professional and will take care of whatever needs you have in the most efficient way. I always recommend Orland Park Plastic Surgery to my Family & Friends.
I began dieting and became a "gym rat," at age 55. Speed up to 2021 and at the age of 60, I was told by friends, that I looked 45. There was a problem though, no matter how hard I worked, my abdominal area, above pelvic area, had excess skin from previous pregnancies and surgeries. I found it hard to feel confident and attractive.Every time I looked in the mirror, my eyes were drawn to that area of hanging, stretched out skin. I decided it was time to seek the help of a professional plastic surgeon to help restore the person that I once was and could be again. I met with Dr Evan Manolis and his office manager, Mary and I was so excited to learn that I like many women, desire to feel attractive and can regain their confidence by this life changing procedure.I put myself in the skilled hands of Dr Manolis and his staff and had a tummy tuck and, now feel like I have finally reached a great milestone in my life. Not only do I feel great but, I look great. I have lost two inches from my waistline as well. Ladies, if you do one thing for yourself, don't deny yourself your true beauty. This gift of my "old self," has made me feel brand new.I have and would recommend Dr Manolis to my friends. He is not only a skilled surgeon but, an artist who has devoted his talent, to making people feel beautiful and confident. The procedure required some rest and recovery time, about six weeks, and I am back to work full time, without restrictions. I don't feel embarrassed any longer and many have commented on how slim and fit I look.I feel that Dr Manolis has helped me to find my outer beauty so my inner beauty can shine bright again. I so wish I would have treated myself to a tummy tuck sooner but, am grateful that I waited until I met Dr Manolis and his staff. Thank you.
To look in the mirror & finally love yourself is an amazing feeling. I've always been bigger than most ladies at 327 pounds due to poor eating habits mixed in with emotional eating from depression. I decided I wanted an extended tummy tuck with muscle repair to remove that hanging kangaroo pouch and since I was bringing sexy back why not add a fat transfer to my hips and buttocks (BBL). I found Dr. Manolis office and instantly fell in love with the coordinator over the phone named Mary who was professional and personal which made me feel comfortable then I met the "magician" himself at my consultation that following week. I call Dr. Manolis a magician because when showing my before/after pics this is what many referred him to. The Dr. Is everything amazing is made of and changed my life forever. I expressed my eagerness to have surgery the next cancellation or as early as possible and that was granted for my surgery ended up being only 2 weeks later. Doctor Manolis personality is so calming and him being double board-certified is so reassuring where the morning of surgery only thing I felt was pure excitement of the new body I was going to have. The fact surgery takes place in a hospital operating room was very vreassuring as well. Doctor Manolis delivered better results than I ever could imagine. My entire experience with this doctor and his staff was amazing with a clean beautiful office location, every single employee has treated me with care, respect and concern. No question I've ever asked went unanswered, I can literally can write forever Praises about my experience with this Surgical Center. Let's fast-forward to me being now 5 months post-surgery with the body of a music video girl. I literally look in the mirror not only loving but actually IN-LOVE with the woman I see in the mirror. I get stopped all the time with compliments on my physical shape and now walk with my head u high. My tummy tuck incision looks like a pencil line that's barely visible, my butt is round and looking like i was born with a natural big butt...my life is changed and I'm forever grateful to this doctor. I can now actual live!
I had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Manolis and I could not be more happy with my results. So glad I chose to go to Dr. Manolis, he did an amazing job and highly recommend anyone who is considering a breast augmentation. His office staff is amazing as well and make you feel so comfortable and are always there to answer any questions you have. Thanks so much to the entire office!
To obtain the optimal result from a breast augmentation, I would advise you to also have a breast lift.By reviewing your photos, there is a sufficient amount of sagging that could be dramatically reduced by opting to have both procedures done together.Be sure to schedule a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, and he or she will answer any questions you may have about this procedure.Best Wishes in your decision.
There is more than one thing that can contribute to hair loss.If you had blood work prior to your surgery, it was most likely general blood work for medical clearance.I would suggest you see your doctor and possibly have more lab work done.I don't believe that the hair loss you are experiencing is directly related to a saline implant being drained.I think your physician will need to dig deeper and perhaps refer you to a specialist if the hair loss continues.Kind Regards
Unfortunately my best advice to you may not be what you want to hear.Never look to surgery as an easy way out for weight loss. Surgery should be where you look once diet & exercise have been put into place, and you achieve your goal weight. If you believe that your parent would agree to you having surgery, then you would also have to be certain your parent would agree to supporting you with a lifestyle and diet change to help you attain a healthy body weight. Perhaps you can involve a friend or family member in your new routine to keep you motivated.I wish you the best in your future goals!
I would strongly advise you to find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in the area you live in now to examine you. A plastic surgeon will be familiar with anything that could have happened to your breast after breast augmentation and a slight injury, rather than a general practitioner. A plastic surgeon will be able to examine and advise you as to what you may be experiencing right now. Best Wishes
In my opinion, traditional liposuction with give you the result you are hoping for. There are many methods that claim to be as good or better than traditional liposuction, however, most fall short of their claims. I can not suggest strongly enough how important it is that your procedure be done by a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. As far as cost goes, that varies considerably with geographic location, as well as the amount of time your surgeon feels the procedure will take, surgical center fees, etc.Best Wishes.
