I want to lengthen my front two teeth through bonding. The reason is that the current length is above my molars and premolars which makes me feel as if I have an open bite.

Unfortunately without photos it is difficult to give you accurate advice. Please post pictures. Generally if the retainer is not too tight the tooth should not be effected if everyday biting pressure is ok on the tooth.

Bondings, do not work for grinders, its going to be something temporal and you will not get the results, if you want to improve that , you will need to think in crowns, to restore height ,and shape and also color.
