What are the options for fixing long canine teeth?

I have very prominent canine teeth. I don't like the way they look and I have been exploring the options of dental bonding as well as veneers. I don't want to damage them or compromise the health of the teeth considering they are healthy and I don't want to have any needles involved. What would be the best option for me? Is it even possible to get a natural look?

Hi Haley, thank you for your question. I am glad you are concerned about health of your teeth.
Have you considered Invisalign, very cosmetic non painful orthodontic option to align your teeth and make them look less prominant? I do not have your pictures to lok at and I did not examine you, but I think you would get great results.

Hi:Most of the time the length of the canines can be changed by simple recountoring procedure without pain and much damage to the tooth.  This procedure simply is done by removing and reshaping the enamel of the tooth at tip.  Since there are no photos of your smile available I can not accurately tell you if you only need this procedure or you need a more extensive solution.Best,Dr. Maddahi

There are many ways that canines appear prominent. Unfortunately, without a photo it's hard to give you a good recommendation. I would suggest taking photos of your teeth and resend your question.
