Why do I feel sensitivity after tooth bonding, even though I did not before it?

During teeth cleaning the pores in your enamel will open up to absorb oxygen. This may be the reason that you are experiencing sensitivity after the dental bonding process. I would wait for a few more days to see if the pain subsides. If it doesn’t, I would head back to the dentist. It is important to steer clear of hot or cold foods for a day or two. Hi:The trauma of dental procedure and the material can cause tooth sensitivity.  Since it has only been a day I would not worry about the pain yet.  Please avoid chewing and hot and cold tempreture food or drink Int he area for a couple of days.  If the pain continues contact your dentist.Best,Dr. Maddahi
