Would it be possible to get liposuction + Renuvion J-Plasma on the mons pubis as an alternative to a monsplasty?

I lost a lot of weight but unfortunately am left with a fat and saggy pubic area despite being skinny everywhere else. I don't want a monsplasty because of the ugly scar. Would lipo for the fat and Renuvion J-Plasma for the skin tightening fix my issue? And about how much would this procedure cost?

Hello, thank you for your question. It is hard to tell without proper photos or a physical examination. Liposuction to the mons pubis can be very effective and significant in certain patients, I recommend you to schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.

You provide no photos, so we can't really answer your question with confidence based on principle. However, what you describe is likely to need INCHES of skin removed. All the 'skin tightening' modalities like Renuvion tighten skin in millimeters. In other words, regardless of the machine in question, it will not be a suitable alternative if skin needs to be removed. Don't waste your money, there are too many practitioners out there with bills to pay (those machines they bought) to say no to you.

It is difficult to say without a photograph. Unfortunately skin tightening with Renuvion is limited on how much tightening can be done. If you have enough skin that the pubic area is very saggy, you will more likely need the extra skin and fat to be cut out and the mons to be resuspended into a more youthful and higher position. My best guess is he will be left highly disappointed without a proper skin tightening procedure. J plasma delivers very little true actual skin tightening.

I speak from first-hand experience having on the device.  I have since sold it because it did not deliver any type of significant skin tightening at all.

For those who need skin surgery they need skin surgery.

We can’t make an assessment without you posting pictures but simply based on your description he will need skin surgery.

Successful weight loss patients have skin laxity problems not fat problems.

Thank you for the question but an examination is really needed. So go on some complimentary consultations with experts and compare recommendations after a full examination and discussion of desired results and look at photos of similar patients and become fully informed about the desired procedure
