Does Lipofiller for cheeks, lips and jawline last longer than the typical derma fillers such as Voluma or Juvederm?

I ve used derma filler for my cheels and lips (voluma nd juvederm) but the result lasted for 2 months max... this is the 7th time I get filler injections and still facing the same result. What about Lipofiller? Does the reuslt last longer? Is it worth?

When large volumes of filler are required, using your own fat is an excellent option. Reports in the literature claim anywhere from 30% to 70% of the fat will survive with the latest harvest and injection techniques (including using PRP). Another benefit of using fat is that sufficient fat can be harvested to ensure complete replacement of lost volume. However, my experience with using fat as a filler for lips is no different than using an HA filler. The lips are most likely to exhibit resorption. A side benefit to using fat is that it tends to leave the skin looking smooth and healthy.

in my experience of performing fat transfer over 20 years and my technique that I have been using since I was with Pitanguy in Brazil and UCLA, the results are permanent.  Experience, know how, injection technique and aesthetic sense is all keys to amazing outcome.

Yes, this would give you a permanent result. Keep in mind, fat transfer technique is important for successful fat transfer. I recommend water-assisted fat harvesting which gives pure fat to transfer and combine with platelet rich plasma (PRP) to get the most viable and sustainable fat cells. I then combined with Sculptra (depending on area) to improve final results. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
