Hi, I’m 25 and I got 2 siringes of bellafill for my chin a little over a week ago. I know it’s probably still healing, and I am going in for a second session in 2 months. I’m looking into getting Kybella now. My chin isn’t a weight problem, it’s genetic. How well will kybella hold up? Will it even make a worthwhile difference? How much would you recommend? The pictures with the green background was before bellafill and the other is a week after.
Answer: Kybella and Bellafill Yes, you can combine these 2 procedures but think that you would get a better result with chin and jawline liposuction than Kybella. Many of us who perform and offer both procedures get better results with liposuction. In addition, with liposuction the jawline can be improved giving you a youthful, well contoured appearance; this cannot be accomplished with Kybella. Good luck

Answer: Kybella treatment after Bellafill? Treating double chin Yes, it's fine to have Kybella after Bellafill. Kybella take 1-3 treatments every 6 weeks. Patient will develop swelling and possible bruising after each injection that may last a few days. The benefit of Kybella is each treatment is quick and completed in the office. However, some patients need more than one treatment to get desired results. Hope this helps.

Answer: Kybella Dear rubysky28,Kybella typically takes 3 to 5 treatments to work. This is why I've stopped carrying Kybella in my office. I recommend neck liposuction more often then any injectable procedure for the neck now. It provides superior results gives me more control over the area than any injectable. It also costs about the same as what you paid for your first kybella session. The liposuction can be done under local while awake in the office and recovery is about the same as kybella.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Kybella Results after Bellafill--add thermage, ultherapy, exilis, VASER, ThermiRF Yes, you can have Kybella after Bellafill to your chin. Keep in mind, it can take 6-8 weeks to start to see results with Kybella and some people need more than one treatment. To improve Kybella results, I recommend a combination approach with thermage, ultherapy, exilis. VASER liposuction in combination with ThermiRF is an alternative for contouring the chin, if you're a candidate. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Bellafill and kybella It is best to avoid using kybella and bellafill at the same time to reduce swelling and inflammation and possible migration of the injected filler. Kybella can improve your neck contour by removing some of the fat under the chin area. Kybella can cause some mild to moderate swelling and requires at least 2-3 treatments to see a dramatic difference and you need to wait about 6 weeks between treatments. Another option for some patients would be liposuction, this will give you more immediate results with a single procedure but there is more swelling and bruising in the immediate after period. For the best treatment options, it is important to visit an expert for an in-person examination. Hope this helps! Johnson C. Lee, MD Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon IG: @drjohnsonlee
