Question

its been almost 2 weeks since they took off my nose splint ( 3 weeks since the day i got a surgery). the tip of my nose is kinnda round, big,short,and upturned. will the tip drop down, be kinda pointy and grow a lil longer as time goes by? p.s: they used my ear cartilage and filler one side of my nose to made both side even.

The amount of tip refinement and definition will increase as the swelling resolves.  The tip rotation (how upturned it is) will also improve - as the swelling decreases the tip will drop a bit.  By about 3-6 months post-op enough swelling will have resolved for you to have a good idea of whether you will be happy or not.

It will look better than now after most of it heals. At that point, you can assess whether you want a revision. Nothing can be done between now and the 6mo mark.

Three weeks is a relatively short period of time after your rhinoplasty surgery.  In fact, you can expect it to take a year or more for your nose to reach its final healed state.  Over that period of time, I expect that you will begin to see some additional refinement and increased definition of the nasal tip, but the overall length of your nose will not change. My advice to you is to just relax and be patient: the final shape of your nose will be revealed with the passage of time, and it will undoubtedly be better than what you see now.

It takes a year to recover from rhinoplasty. At two weeks, with the swelling present, you are not seeing your final result. Give yourself a chance to heal. Discuss these issues with your surgeon at your next postop visit.

Two weeks does not allow you to determine the final result of your surgery.  The tip will likely come down a bit and become more refined.  We usually tell our patients to not look too closely until 3 -6 months post -op.
