Answer: Smoking after rhinoplasty Smoking can delay healing and cause it to take longer for the mucosa and tissues to heal. It is best to stop smoking for at least one month prior to your surgery and one month after your procedure at a minimum.

Answer: Smoking after surgery Smoking can prevent your tissues from mending. Specifically for rhinoplasty it can affect the tip cartilages from healing and descending down among many other complications. What you can do now is to completely stop and hopefully there will be no long term consequences. An in-person exam with a board-certified plastic surgeon is the best way to assess your needs and provide true medical advice.
