I got a breast lift no implants in the Dominican Republic, but once I got home I developed a seroma.. it looks so bad I wanna cry.. is this something that will be a long term issue ? Will my breast heal with this scar ? And is there anything I can do to speed up the healing process?

Answer: Seroma Dear amberaaralyn, seroma can occur after breast surgery and in most cases it resolves after aspiration. In some cases it can last for a while until it finally resolves. If you are concerned, I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon. Every plastic surgeon has his own postoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. Answer: Seroma You are best to arrange a face to face consult with a local PS to advise you on the management of this seroma. I would recommend contacting your original surgeon to see if they have anyone local to you that they can refer you to.
