Thank you for your question and photos! It is certainly okay to give a BBL a second try. Based off your photos, it might be a good idea to take fat from your inner and outer thighs, and maybe even your abdomen. I highly recommend that you go on consultations with board certified plastic surgeons in your area who can assess you in person and give you a realistic expectation of what can be done. I wish you the best of luck on your journey!
Dear feliciabadasever,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination but if you have enough fat tissue a revision might be an option. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Having a second BBL is an option as long as the patient has enough fat to be transferred. The revision implies that there is less fat than the first time, and scar tissue will make the surgery much more difficult on the surgeon. The percentage of fat survival in the BBL the second time should be about the same. An in-office consult would be best to determine if this would add the fullness you are seeking.Kenneth Hughes, MD, ABPS Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
what you need is an accurate assessment. It's not possible to get that in your case via a real self post. Since your borderline accuracy becomes more important than ever. I need an examination and honest discussion with the provider. Even though you've gained weight you most likely have less fat and I would say substantially so then the first time around. If that result that's more subtle than the first time around is except a bowl and you feel you would benefit from both the liposuction and fat transfer then a second go round may be justified. You should lower your expectations too well below what you received the first time considering that secondary liposuction does not give nearly as much fat as primary. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
Some patients will experience tightness and pains as the scar is being made and activity is increased. Swelling should start going down a few weeks after surgery; you will see and feel the end results in about 6-8 weeks. Kenneth Hughes, MD, ABPS Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Hello thank you for your question and provided information as well. Based on your question, it is a very personal decision, but my recommendation is to have the children that you are going to have and then plan a plastic surgery.
There is what is ideal and then there is reality. The perfect BBL recovery would be laying on your abdomen without moving for three weeks. Nobody is going to do that nor would any bun be asked to Minimal movement and avoidance of points pressure are the things you want to avoid. To give a...
