When can I go in for chin lipo after my BBL?

Question

I just got a bbl, I forgot to add another area. when can I go in for chin lipo? Like how soon? I herd 3-6 months between surgeries but it’s a small area and not on my body.

You are correct, chin lipo does not add a great deal of time to the case so it could have been performed during your BBL surgery with the right board certified PS.  Ask the PS who performed your BBL what he/she would recommend.  Dependent upon an uneventful BBL recovery and because the chin lipo can be performed under local anesthesia, six weeks after BBL may be adequate.Kenneth Hughes, MD, ABPS Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

There is no restrictions. If you get it sucked out it is not like it will re-distribute faster if you also get removed. That being said, the main restriction is going to be how long you have to wait to lie on your buttocks after a BBL. Typically the surgery takes 30-45 minutes so most surgeons will want to wait atleast 2-4 weeks prior to putting that much weight on your buttocks. Hope that helps!

Its certainly acceptable to undergo chin liposuction three months after a BBL procedure. Liposuction the chin can be performed under local or general anesthesia, depending upon the patient's desires. For more information and many before-and-after examples,  please see the video below

there's no reason to wait other than restrictions for laying on your back after the BBL.  we ask her patients not to sleep or lay on their back for the first three weeks so in my practice you could have chin liposuction three weeks after a BBL.  Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
