Can my skin retract after chin liposuction or should I consider other options?

A combination approach would give the most improvement. Kybella, PDO Nova Threads, Ultherapy and/or ThermiRF treatments (Venus Legacy) are non-invasive options that would do well in combination for skin tightening for the neck. VASER with ThermiRF is a great alternative for contouring and tightening the chin and neck and can be combined with a neck lift at the same time, if you're a candidate. Thanks for the question and photos. At your age, it seems you would have sufficient skin elasticity to see the dermis conform over the new facial contour. However, if you are not fully satisfied with your result, a non-surgical method of skin tightening like Ulthera or Thermage might produce the finishing touches you want. Make sure you work with a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience in facial contouring to ensure the best possible outcome. Good luck!

We have some very exciting new technologies for non-invasive tightening of the Neck. Renuvion powered by J-Plasma (Cool Helium Plasma) along with liposuction can produce dramatic improvement in skin laxity and fat reduction.  This technology has produced beautiful results for correction of a turkey neck without the scar required with a traditional neck lift.  Ultherapy and other non invasive treatments for fat reduction A (Coolsculpting, Kybella) would also be an option.Price would depend on geographical location.

Often going back in to perform simple "dry lipo" where the layer of scar is broken down and a new surface is created can be the way to go. There is also some fat that needs to be removed. Hope that helps!

your situation is really too complex to discuss on this form.  Less invasive options include radio frequency treatments like J plasma though that is a surgical treatment.   Ideally that procedure is done at the same time as liposuction.  I suggest following up with your provider and discussing your concerns.  Just FYI. When taking photographs try not to take pictures into the light.  The photographer should have the light towards his or her back.  Just one of those things.
