Can my skin retract after chin liposuction or should I consider other options?

My chin lipo gave me a little bit of sagging and not good contouring under the chin. Feels tight. Can this retract or should I consider other options. 30cc fat were removed. I am 1 month post op and 24 years old.

A combination approach would give the most improvement. Kybella, PDO Nova Threads, Ultherapy and/or ThermiRF treatments (Venus Legacy) are non-invasive options that would do well in combination for skin tightening for the neck. VASER with ThermiRF is a great alternative for contouring and tightening the chin and neck and can be combined with a neck lift at the same time, if you're a candidate. Thanks for the question and photos. At your age, it seems you would have sufficient skin elasticity to see the dermis conform over the new facial contour. However, if you are not fully satisfied with your result, a non-surgical method of skin tightening like Ulthera or Thermage might produce the finishing touches you want. Make sure you work with a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience in facial contouring to ensure the best possible outcome. Good luck!

We have some very exciting new technologies for non-invasive tightening of the Neck. Often going back in to perform simple "dry lipo" where the layer of scar is broken down and a new surface is created can be the way to go. There is also some fat that needs to be removed. Hope that helps!

your situation is really too complex to discuss on this form.  Less invasive options include radio frequency treatments like J plasma though that is a surgical treatment.   Ideally that procedure is done at the same time as liposuction.  I suggest following up with your provider and discussing your concerns.  Just FYI. When taking photographs try not to take pictures into the light.  The photographer should have the light towards his or her back.  Just one of those things.
