Hyaluronidase / steroid interactions

Question

4 sessions 180 units each to get rid of 2 syringes of vollure. Very little results. I was taking flonase, a steroid nasal spray for allergies. I read that steroids make hyaluronidase ineffective or at least less effective. would flonase be in high enough concentrations in my blood to hinder hyaluronidase efficacy?

Hi Victoria, that much Hyaluronidase should have been plenty to get rid of the product that you had injected.  Are there before photos so you can visualize how things looked before hand?  The reason we ask the question is it's sometimes hard for patients to remember exactly how things looked before the filler.  The steroids would not have affected the results of the reversal with the amount of hyaluronidase you had.  To view a hyaluronidase reversal, click on the link below.
