Hard/Solid lip 5 days after Juvederm lip injections? (Photo)

Thank you for your pictures and questions. An exam would be necessary to make a proper assessment. However, at 5 days after the injection, I would presume that you still have some swelling present that is leading to the sensation. You could try some light massage to see if this helps. Also, just give it more time. If at two weeks, you are still having problems, go see your surgeon or injector for an evaluation.Best of luck!

Swelling and firmness can be typical. Icing and cold compresses may give improvement. I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results, but this may be superficially placed filler. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase.

Since you have no other symptoms on your upper lip and both had been injected, one could assume the stiffness comes on the basis of post injection swelling.  Only a visit from you physician injector would be definitive.  If I had more swelling of my lower lip, I would put ice intermittently on my lip and anticipate the swelling to slowly get better.  If not, then I would seek medical attention.  Hyaluronidase can be injected to dissolve some or most of the Juvaderm as your condition and desires dictate.  Best wishes

By looking at your pictures I can see that you have some bruising which will result in swelling. I am absolutely 100% certain you are going to have a beautiful result so you have nothing to worry about. You can assist in the healing process by applying moist, warm compresses to the lips few times daily. Good luck from New York City
