Can you re-graft fat back to the neck/throat area after botched liposuction? (Photo)

this is very hard to treat but improve with "washing" the area with diluted Radiesse and belotero fillers. fat looks HORRIBLE if its injected here even in nanofat.  morpheus, botox, and smooth threads often help. you should start RF treatments like forma facials which we have our patients do monthly for rejuvenation to help soften the area and scar tissue.  PLEASE SEE AN EXPERT. This is a common issue and can be improved or resolved with one or more approaches: Neuromodulator, fat transfer, Sculptra, other filler(s), platysma denervation, or open necklift with platysma transection.

fat transfer might be an option if you have donor sites. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Thank you for your photos. Fat grafting may be an option if you have fat which can be taken from another area. The important thing when fat grafting the neck is to do very small amounts. This means you may have improvement but not have a very dramatic difference after fat grafting. Larger amounts of fat grafting can look unnatural in the neck and may make the neck appear soft and irregular. Fillers are another option. Fillers are dissolvable in case you do not like the look. You may also benefit from J Plasma tightening of the neck skin to remove some of the laxity and banding of the skin. Hope this helps!

I’m curious if your surgeon used ultrasound assistance or VASER for your neck?Fat grafting will probably not be particularly effective. Initially it seems like the appropriate treatment since the primary problem is now that too much fat was removed. The problem tends to be that there is no host tissue to support the grafted fat. When someone is left with skin on muscle there’s no tissue plane to support the graft. A high percentage of fat graft loss happens and the graft survive in an uneven fashion making the contour still uneven and possibly worse. if this is the approach you’re going to take you should expect to have multiple rounds of fat transfer. grafting small amounts of fat conservatively with each round is a better approach. probably three or four rounds of fat transfer would be needed to get even a modest improvement.There’s no easy fix for your situation.I would encourage you to follow up with your provider so that he or she knows the outcome of the surgery and can adjust their technique and not disfigure more people. It may also be helpful for others if you write a review on the provider sharing your experience.I’m sorry to have such a bleak view towards your problem.
