I had my inner thigh lipo over 2 years ago and the result is less than satisfactory, they look uneven and asymmetrical. My goal was to not have my thighs rub together but the doctor missed the whole point and left me with "violin" thighs as he lipoed most from the mid section instead of the top. The doctor only took about 300ml from each inner thigh, which didn't make much of a difference. Now I want them to be even out and look symmetrical. What options do I have? About how much will it cost?
Answer: High definition VASER liposuction The definitive correction for liposuction deformities requires the advanced technology of ultrasound assisted VASER liposuction. As an official trainer of VASER liposuction, I encounter suboptimal liposuction outcome referrals weekly. VASER liposuction has been the only modality that has consistently corrected liposuction caused deformities. VASER liposuction ensures a smooth contour regardless of severity of contour irregularities by virtue of being able to remove any and all remaining fat comprehensively and uniformly. Finally, when skin redundancy irregularities are observed, Renuvion technology can be simultaneously applied to tighten your skin to optimize your overall contour outcome. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a VASER specialist will help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee

Answer: Inner thigh liposuction revision inner thighs probably represent the worst anatomic location to get good liposuction results.Removing fat does not contribute great improvements to body contour in this area. The primary reason is skin laxity and a lack of connective tissue securing the skin to underlying muscle fascia. The best way to demonstrate this is to lift up on the skin on your inner thigh and see the contour change by putting the skin under tension. It will probably show you a contour which is what you’re looking for.Pulling on the skin does not change someone’s fat distribution. It simply makes the skin tight.Another way to demonstrate this is to lay on your back and put your feet straight up in the air and let gravity do the work. The upper inner thigh responds the least to Liposuction and that is generally the area women want the most improvement. It’s unlikely someone will be relieved of rubbing in her thighs from Liposuctionmy practice has been devoted exclusively to Liposuction and fat transfer procedures for over a decade. i’ve been a plastic surgeon for over 20 years.I performed over 7000 above section procedures.I generally do not encourage anyone to get in her thigh liposuction. Young women with tight skin are the exception and those people can get at times impressive results. The area can be technically challenging and it’s best done with patients awake laying on their side. There may be room for some improvements but you should keep your expectations low.In many ways you should be grateful that the results were not worse. Had surgeon been more aggressive then you could’ve been left with the situation that’s irreparable.Without posting before and after pictures we can’t really make any type of assessment in regards to your outcome.if you move forward I would do so with caution.you will find most plastic surgeons are far more enthusiastic about helping you then what my response sounds like.I think you’ll find that plastic surgeons who have done more Liposuction than their colleagues will tend to favor my response more.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
