I did my procedure about 9 months ago have a bulge on my upper abdomen post a liposuction procedure. I did an ultrasound and results states I have a small fluid amount collection in the subcutaneous soft tissues.
Answer: Post Lipo - Lymphatic Massage, Hyperbaric Oxygen, RF (Venus Legacy, Exilis, InMode Forma), Trusclupt ID/Flex, Cellutone/Z Wave revision surgery or trusclupt ID + Flex can help this. RF treatments will be needed as maintenance forever after previous liposuction. If you are unhappy with your results please speak to your physician and ensure he was a full body VASER HD liposuction physciain wtih expensive experience in body shaping and not just traditional fat reduction. At this point you should be using compression, RF treatments like venus legacy / exilis ultra / inmode forma or contoura and lymphatic massage to get you through healing. We always add shock wave therapy such as cellutone, z wave, and eclipse evive to help prvent scar tissue formation and ensure an even and smooth result. It will take 6-12 months to see the final outcome. If you are unhappy you can get a revision procedure by an expert in VASER HD lipo. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Seroma Dear ladex, It is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you have a seroma, then you might need a surgery in order to remove the capsule which forms in case of chronic seroma. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: High definition VASER liposuction If there is fluid building up the solution is likely to drain it. However, if the problem is with your liposuction results, high definition VASER liposuction can be used to correct the complication. As an official trainer of VASER liposuction, I encounter suboptimal liposuction outcome referrals weekly. VASER liposuction has been the only modality that has consistently corrected liposuction caused deformities. VASER liposuction ensures a smooth contour regardless of severity of contour irregularities by virtue of being able to remove any and all remaining fat comprehensively and uniformly. Finally, when skin redundancy irregularities are observed, Renuvion technology can be simultaneously applied to tighten your skin to optimize your overall contour outcome. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a VASER specialist will help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee

Answer: Breaking up scar tissue any procedure that attempts to break up scar tissue will in the end make more scar tissue. There’s really no way around that. More surgery will make more scar tissue. If the fluid collection is large enough to create a contour problem then the correct solution is to surgically excised the capsule around the fluid collection and place a drain. This generally involves an open incision that will leave a scar. draining the fluid doesn’t work because the body will make more fluid. draining the fluid and placing a drain may partially work if the drain is left in long enough but often the fluid collection will still come back if the capsule is not excised. fluid collections called seromas Need to be drained early and aggressively to avoid forming a chronic seroma. Alternatively further liposuction could be done in some cases to even out the contour irregularities caused by the seroma. In my opinion the concept of breaking up scar tissue especially with the use of power assist devices like VASER is false and will create a worse situation. If you need liposuction revision didn’t have liposuction revision. If you need your seroma excised and have that done.Would you really need is a good assessment by an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon who knows what they’re doing.I would suggest following up with the surgeon who did your procedure and let him or her help you through this.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
