Is facelift tape safe to use?

Question

I can't do a mini facelift right now and have surgery so I have been using facelift tape and bands in the meantime. Only on special occasions. Will this make my skin worse and stretch it out more? And if so, if I only use them sometimes is that ok?

The facelift tape is safe to use and will not cause your skin to stretch out or worse overtime. You can continue to use it to help improve your appearance until you decide to move forward with surgery.

Although I would strongly question the efficacy of the tape, I don't see a reason it is not safe to use. The only worrisome component I can think of is I would stop using the tape if your skin begins to appear irritated from it.

Only you can tell if it’s working. I believe it’s safe but you have to careful of skin reaction to tape from irritation.

I can’t see any harm that could come from it - except irritation of cheek skin. Certainly, the tape does no damage to deeper tissue and doesn’t burn any bridges. You can still have facelift in the future.

Actors have used used face tapes since they were invented. The work fine as long as your skin is not irritated
