I have read my operative report many times and can't figure out why my radix—I think that's the term—appears wider. I know it may seem minor, but to me it is making all the difference between liking my result and hating it. I strongly dislike how this makes my entire nose appear wider and makes my eyes look wider. I'm already 3 mo post op and my PS told me the swelling at the top my bridge is already gone. So why does it look wider? Can it be made narrow again in a revision once I'm done healing?

Answer: Why Does My Nose Look Wider After Rhinoplasty?
Hola, espero que estés muy bien.
Seguramente no es una cicatriz, lo que se requiere para corregir es que te hagan una rinoplastia otra vez y quitar el pedazo de cartílago que te quedo ahí.
Saludos.
Hi darling, thank you for your question. Depends on the procedures that you previously had but based on your statement 4-6 weeks would be the ideal period of time between these surgeries and to give time to your body to release these substances and be back again under the same. Hope this he...
Dear Kayy92, I would seek an appointment with a surgeon near you that can address this current problem. You do not want to let the suture dissolve on its own as it may cause healing issues. Best regards, Michael V. Elam, M.D.
