8 days after 1 ml of Juvederm, I'm not seeing any difference after lip filler. Thoughts? (photos)

I am glad to see that you have a before picture, but ideally we need more pictures taken before and after from front, sides as well as 45 degree to be able to accurately capture the 3D shape and volume of lips in 2D pictures. Generally speaking, 1 cc of hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm is a good starting point for lips to avoid overfilling, but 8 days is still a little bit too early to judge the results. I highly recommend that you allow 2 weeks to pass from the date of injections to make sure all remaining swelling and bruising are gone and at that time if any concerns are left, please do a follow up with your doctor. Hi Sarah!I am seeing a small difference between your pictures if the top is the before and the bottom is after. Its subtle, but it has a natural look to it. Depending on what you want to see, ask the injector about different options and products. Some fillers are much more drastic in difference than others. If you want to see a bigger difference, i would suggest speaking to your experienced injector :)Best of luck!

Thank you for your question. Most Doctors will start with one-syringe to avoid over-filling. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical and full lip. PDO Nova threads can also be used to improve shape and also provide lift. Fat or implants are a permanent alternative. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Typically 1ml of filler is a good amount to use when getting lip fillers for the first time.  It does appear that there is a difference between your before and after, but it is only subtle. I encourage you to wait two weeks from the day of your injection and then return to your injector for an evaluation.  It may be that more product is needed in order for you to achieve your desired result.
