Its unclear what you are trying to ask but looks like there were two pop offs and each application lasted for 16 minutes, 5 minutes and 16 minutes. At our clinic we start a new application everytime there is a pop off just to make sure you get the full treatment but in your case time will tell.
At this point, it's too early to tell what your final results will be. If you're concerned about your treatment, I recommend following up with your practitioner. For best results with Coolsculpting, I recommend a combination. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. In our practice, we use a Fire and Ice treatment of Coolsculpting with Vanquish and are getting great results. VASER with ThermiRF are a great alternative. Best, Dr. Emer
Hello and thank you for your question. It's difficult to tell what happened, but it sounds like your applicators popped off twice. I recommend following up with your practitioner about your concerns over your treatment. Keep in mind, most patients elect to have a retreatment of the same area to help get the best results. All the best, Dr. Dr. Aggarwal
Once there is a pop off, the treatment should be stopped and the area should be retreated. The targeted areas should have the full 35 minutes to complete the treatment.
As a practical matter, a Coolsculpting cycle is considered irreversibly underway after 5 minutes-so the option is to repeat the cycle or not. While 16 minutes may give adequate treatment, ideally, the area should be treated for the full cycle. Allergan is very responsive--and so if there is an incomplete cycle, your provider can discuss getting that incomplete cycle repeated.Theoretically, the full treatment would be the ideal time to allow for adequate freezing of the fat tissue--and combining shorter cycles will not give the same cumulative effect as a full cycle.
Thank you for your question. If you received a "Potential loss of contact" error, during your treatment, your CoolSculpting Specialist should be able to restart the treatment in order for you to receive the full 35 min treatment. I suggest following up with your provider if you have any other questions or concerns. Best of luck!
Thank you for your question. While it should be fine to use red light therapy post Coolsculpting, I recommend following up with your provider about their protocols post-treatment. Keep in mind, most patients have more than one treatment with Coolsculpting and you can achieve up to a 40% re...
Hello, Thank you for your question. Most practices consider the “CoolAdvantage Plus” (the larger 45min applicator) as 2 cycles because it is twice the size of the smaller ones. Many may choose to opt for this instead of the two smaller options, but ultimately this should be decided in pers...
Swelling and bruising are common side effects after a treatment of Cool Sculpting. The treated fat cells will go through an inflammation process before they shrivel up and die. The swelling & bruising is temporary but can last 10 days. Numbness to the treated area can last...
Hello, thanks for the question. CoolSculpting can be done on the same area as long as there is pinchable, grabable fat. At our practice, most patients treat the same area 1 -3 times. Remember, with each treatment you will lose 20-25% of the fat, you can retreat an area as early as 4 weeks af...
Your history is not contraindicated for Coolsculpting, provided the hernia has been repaired. As long as there is a good grab and enough subcutaneous tissue to treat, you can be treated with CoolSculpting. The treatment would help rid of fat deposits under the chin and contour...
Hi EJC, The type of constant and intense pain following CoolSculpting you appear to be describing is something we see in about 5% of our clients. The timing is usually 5-10 days post treatment. Gabapentin 300mg taken once or twice daily is likely your best answer. Gabapentin is...
