Thank you for your question. The lag between SculpSure treatments often depends on the effectiveness of prior treatments. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon for an in person examination to determine your candidacy and discuss your treatment plan.Best wishes,
Sculpsure is a noninvasive laser treatment that removes up to 25% of stubborn fat in the treated area in 25 minutes. It is FDA approved for the abdomen and flanks. The body contouring effects are seen in as quick as six weeks with final results at 12 weeks. The laser targets and destroys the fat cells only which are then naturally removed from the body. Since the laser does not affect the skin or muscle it can be used on all skin colors and there has been no reported incidents of burns when treated by a properly trained physician. It has four applicators that can be customized to treat the areas of stubborn fat. If a second treatment is needed we wait at least six weeks and usually closer to 12. There is no downtime and you can resume your normal activities right after the treatment. There may be some soreness in the area for a few days for which you can take ibuprofen or tylenol. A cold compress can also be used.Sculpsure is not used for skin tightening however some of her patients have seen this. If more skin tightening is needed we have combined this with thermi or Ulthera for a complete treatment. Sculpsure is recommended for stubborn areas of fat that are not being lost by diet and exercise. It is not a weight loss treatmentSince I have both a coolsculpting and sculpsure I am working on protocols of utilizing both of these depending upon what areas need to be treated and the response to the treatment. I have used sculpsure on other areas other than the abdomen with very good results. I also use a Vectra 3D imaging system to try and show people what their treatment areas could look like.Since Sculpsure outcomes can be based on technique and experience, please see a board certified plastic surgeon that specializes body contouring to see if Sculpsure or other treatments are available to meet your goals. to be honest there is no reason why you would have to wait to do coolsculping after sculpsure. we do not know the added benefit of the two together but since sculpsure is very little downtime with lack of inflammation there is no reason why you cannot in my opinion. Best, Dr. Emer.
There is not an exact time period that is needed between SculpSure treatments or a CoolSculpting treatment after SculpSure. Since it does take about 12 weeks to see the full effect from a SculpSure treatment, some physicians may choose to wait this amount of time before re-treating or switching to CoolSculpting. Technically, the treatments could be spaced very close together but I would recommend waiting at least 1-2 months between procedures.
Why would you want to treat the same area with CoolSculpt without waiting to see if the SculpSure worked? Seems like a waste of money. I would suggest that you wait at least 13 weeks for your final results before doing anything else. Hope this helps.
I would wait about 8-12 weeks between treating the same area again with SculpSure or CoolSculpting. You can treat different areas at any time though.
One can treat quickly but you might be affecting the cells that are already killed and being set up for absorption. I am not sure why you would choose the cool method after you had experienced the warm/fast. Financially, one would wait to see the results first. I think both could be done closer but why treat dead cells?
Thank you for your question. According to the studies performed by Cynosure, initial effects from a SculpSure treatment can be seen starting as early as 6 weeks after treatment; however, full effects are typically seen at around 3 months. Between the two non-invasive liposuction modalities, SculpSure is a faster and easier treatment, compared to CoolSculpting. Both are shown to be equally efficacious, with SculpSure able to be performed in half the time. It is true, however, that some patients may need 2-3 treatments with SculpSure to achieve their desired results - each treatment removes up to 24% of fat cells; with repeated treatments, therefore, more fat cells are removed. Best of luck!
The effects of SculpSure can take up to 12 weeks and I would wait this time period prior to undergoing any further fat reduction treatment. SculpSure has the advantage of tightening skin which we have seen in most patients. This is a significant advantage over Coolsculpting.
I would personally wait 8-12 weeks, however it depends on what your goals are. I have performed both Sculpsure and Coolsculpting. The advantage of Sculpsure is the relative lack of pain, and no downtime, however Coolsculpting be very effective in areas like the flanks and even under the chin. To answer your question, if you have good results with Sculpsure, I would continue with that treatment because downtime and post op pain is minimal. However if you would like to try Coolscupting, I would wait 10 to 12 weeks. All the bestDr Davin LimLaser DermatologistBRISBANE, Australia.

Hello and thank you for your question. I have treated many patients and studied and participated in multiple studies. Sculpsure does not affect your body's ability to loose weight. I have noticed and many of my patients have reported so that they tend to loose more weight after...
