I'm 25. Had a septoplasty/turbinate reduction in 2007 but my nose is still deviated and one side remains about 50% obstructed. I am strongly considering a septorhinoplasty to finally address my deviated septum and I wonder if adding chin augmentation will create any complications/significantly worsen recovery? I have never done cosmetic surgery before but I am unhappy with my side profile and I want to address my recessed chin due to long face syndrome/mouth breathing as an adolescent.

Chin augmentation should improve your appearance by projecting the chin and extending your neck forward. Your chin should not extend all the way to your nose, but more to the level of your lips. Extending the chin to the nose would make it look over projected.
