Q: I have done rhinoplasty a few years ago. But my nose looks crooked. What can I do to make my nose look straight? (Photos)
Hi AlisaNadzina:
Thank you for your question!
You are correct that you have both facial and nose asymmetry. Amazingly we all have pretty significant differences between the sides of the face and when a surgical change happens, all of those differences come into much sharper focus for us.
Your photos do show some asymmetry of the nose, especially the dorsum/bridge and you may benefit from revision rhinoplasty. I am not sure if you had an osteotomy before to reset the nasal bones, but that may be a consideration at this point.
Sometimes a non-surgical rhinoplasty can fool the eye with filler if surgical intervention is not something you want to take on just yet.
Please consult with an Plastic Surgeon experienced in revision rhinoplasty for an in person exam to consider your options.
Best of Luck!

Q: Can I have smallest implants placed to perk up breasts rather than have a b-lift after implant deflation?
Hi jklugo:
Thank you for your question!
Downsizing breast size in your 50's is aligned with today's trend! Many women are actually removing their implants and "going natural"!
We can certainly give you a bit more fullness and a smaller breast size with a variety of options.
Making a properly studied recommendation would require an in-person consultation to evaluate how deflated your breasts are, how low your nipples have fallen and how much actual tissue volume you have. You would also need to indicate what volume of breast is large enough for you.
Since your implant volume is actually on the smaller side, you might consider a breast lift to "repackage" whatever breast tissue you do have and uplift the breast and nipple to reduce the deflated appearance. Clearly, this would require that you have some of your own breast tissue.
Many women opt for the "simpler approach" of simply placing an implant to "fill up the empty skin" and then feel too big. A Mastopexy to lift and repackage the breast tissue many times gives a nice fullness improvement and very natural look.
Make an appointment with an Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who is experienced in Breast Implant Revision and Mastopxy for a full consultation and examination.
Should you and your surgeon agree that you have enough tissue to get the shape you want without an implant, I would recommend doing the lift without another implant. you always have the option of changing your mind later and then adding the volume that is "just right" whether with an implant, or fat grafting if you are a candidate.
Best of Luck!

Q: Am I a good candidate for a non surgical nose job? (photos)
Hi superunsure22:
Thank you for your question!
Non-surgical rhinoplasty uses the addition of filler to even out irregularities or camouflage a hump on the bridge. We can fool the eye, but the nose actually gets bigger!
Unfortunately, in your situation you are interested in reducing the size of your nose and that requires a surgical approach.
Hump reduction at the bridge, reduction in tip projection and tip refinement would be possible improvements that surgical rhinoplasty could provide you.
Get an in depth consultation with a Plastic Surgeon who is experienced in Rhinoplasty to evaluate your options and likely outcomes.

Q: Do I need to get my belly button repaired when I get my tummy tuck? (photo)
Hi MommaMika:
Thank you for your question!
Your belly button bulging out represents an umbilical hernia, which would be repaired at the time of your Tummy Tuck. Since the muscle wall will be repaired as part of the surgery, this bulge will likely be tucked back in with that repair.
Your belly button sits low on your abdomen and will need to be reset to its proper level when the lower abdominal skin overhang is removed (or your belly button will be pulled too close to your hairline).
Resetting your belly button during a normal Tummy Tuck will result in a scar all the way around it, so no additional scars would be required for repair.
Best of Luck!
