First picture is without editing, second has just the chin edited. Will a chin implant give the desired results of the second picture?

The edited photographs do appear to be  realistic and obtainable with a chin implant. Remember, the chin is a three-dimensional structure and this is only one view. Chin implants are manufactured in variety of sizes and shapes, are inserted through submental approach under local anesthesia as an outpatient procedure. Yes, your edited photo is absolutely reasonable.  Chin implants provide projection to the chin.  Your chin should be in line with your lips.  If you place your finger directly down from your lips, your chin should just about touch the finger.  Yours is significantly behind.  A chin implant would balance the lower half of your face.
