Will chin augmentation give the desired outcome in my second picture?

 The edited photographs do appear to be  realistic and obtainable with a chin implant. Remember, the chin is a three-dimensional structure and this is only one view. Different profiles of chin implants exist , the extension of the wings of the chin implant also adds to the profile of the mandibular border if needed.

Yes, your edited photo is absolutely reasonable.  Chin implants provide projection to the chin.  Your chin should be in line with your lips.  If you place your finger directly down from your lips, your chin should just about touch the finger.  Yours is significantly behind.  A chin implant would balance the lower half of your face.
