I got an implant 3 years ago. I'm not happy with the way it looks. Will the chin and even more importantly the SMILE go back to the way it was before? I am 44. Would appreciate pictures of before and after removal if anyone has. Thanks!

In general, it is not abnormal to have some tenderness 4 weeks after having a chin implant. I would recommend contacting your surgeon with any specific concerns, as he/she knows the details of your procedure and will be able to advise you. I hope this helps, and I wish you the best of luck.
If chin implants are inappropriate placed or the surgeon is unfamiliar with the anatomy these structures can be injured. If the tingling has subsided the pressure will also subside. You are only 4 weeks out from surgery.
