Can filler be placed in different areas in the cheek? I've had some put in - 3/4 angle I look great. Front facing my eyes have disappeared! I look very piggy. So can I have the filler dissolved slightly (so keeping some filler in there?) And next time can the doctor place filler elsewhere in my cheek to suit me better?
Answer: Dissolving Dermal Fillers Hi Simone. Using Vitrase (Hyaluronidase) is not an exact solution because the product is a liquid enzyme dissolving only part of the filler is very difficult. For our patients, we caution them against this process as the enzyme may affect more of the product on one side than another causing asymmetry. Our recommendation is usually to live with the product as is or dissolve it all and start the project over. Answer: Filler in the cheeks and around the eyes There are several areas around the eyes and cheek region that can be injected, according to where there is volume loss. If you do not like the results of a particular filler, your surgeon can always inject hyaluronidase. Relay your concerns to your surgeon and they will formulate a plan that best meets your needs. Good luck!

Answer: Eyelid filler reversal It depends on the filler and other factors. Usually some can be dissolved if less reversing enzyme is injected. Best to see an oculoplastic specialist.

Answer: Filler in the Cheeks and Being Unhappy If you are unhappy, specific areas can be dissolved if the enzyme injected is used properly. My suggestion is to find an expert filler injector and someone that uses cannula injections for precise treatment without any complications. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: You might want to wait a few more days Thanks for your question and sorry that you are not having the results you were hoping to have with your injections. We always recommend that you have your injections given in the offices of board certified dermatologists or plastic surgeons who are the true experts in the use of fillers. If you are not having the results you want, you need to go back to your provider to see what the options are for you now. If it is only a few days after the filler, you might want to wait a few more days to see if what you are noting is from swelling in the area. If it is a month or more after, then the proper injection of hyaluronidase can make things better. Again, the right provider is needed here.
