Is it okay to take cannabis oil before and after Sculptra?

Question

Cannabis oil and marijuana are anti-inflammatory and from what I've read, sculptra works by creating an inflammatory response to produce collagen. So I'm wondering if using cannabis oil/marijuana would counteract results?

Hello,No one knows whether or not cannabinoids have any effect on Sculptra; no study has ever been conducted. My guess is that it would have no effect. Best of luck!

It is unlikely this will counteract your results, but I recommend following up with your Doctor about their protocol about cannabis oil with your Sculptra treatment. Keep in mind, it takes 3-6 months to see results with Sculptra. Sculptra is a great product for improving facial volume and collagen building, but for best results, I recommend using it in a combination depending on desired results. I combine Sculptra with other fillers, lasers, toxins and skin care to give immediate results. See an expert. There should be no affect on your Sculptra results with taking marijuana or its derivatives to the best of my knowledge. The results of Sculptra takes months to appreciate, at least 3-4 months. Final results at about 9 months.
