Answer: Should results be seen after one Sculptra session? Sculptra is a stimulating agent that normally requires more than one treatment to obtain the desired results. I would say it is possible to see some effect from just one session, but this would depend on the patient and what the starting point was. It can take 1-2 months to see the full effect from a treatment. I normally wait at least one month in between treatments but there is no harm or adverse effect from waiting a longer period of time.

Answer: Sculptra - what should I expect? Hello,Although you are young, it's hard to offer feedback on a treatment plan without photos. Generally speaking, most patients benefit from a series of three treatments over a period of six months. The typical patient that is in need of volume will have 2 vials the first treatment, wait 4-6 weeks for treatment #2 with 1-2 vials, wait 3-4 months and have treatment #3 with 1 vial. Thereafter, for the next six months, the body continues to respond well during this known "lag" effect. From that point forward, the expectations is 2 years and beyond on benefits. If your concern is looking overdone, it's not the product that would produce an unnatural look. Rather, it's the one performing the injections that is important as this determine amount of product and technique (placement of product). In our practice, Sculptra lends to a very natural and pretty result in restoring volume to the entire canvas and frame of the face. In addition, there is the "Sculptra Glow" wherein the skin is rejuvenated from the inside out. Please see the below link for our Sculptra outcomes, and be certain to ask your injector for before/after photos of his/her patients to determine if your goals will match their services. On a side note: Most patients will observe a mild improvement with only 1 treatment session 4 weeks later. This is normal as it is a process. Within a few weeks after your 2nd session, you will be more encouraged.

Answer: Sculptra Results--Combine with fillers, toxins, lasers, skin care for best results It takes 3-6 months to see results with Sculptra. Sculptra is a great product for improving facial volume and collagen building, but for best results, I recommend using it in a combination depending on desired results. I combine Sculptra with other fillers, lasers, toxins and skin care to give immediate results. Cost will vary. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Sculptra one session, should I see any results? Thank you for sharing your excellent question. In general it is recommended that patients receive one vial of Sculptra per decade of life as their initial "correction" followed by a vial of sculptra every year or two for maintenance. Though you may see some subtle improvement you should anticipate continued treatment to maximize your results. Hope this helps.
