It’s been 4 days since I got Botox between the eyebrows. I woke up this morning with bump on right side. The bump was not there in the days before. Is this normal? Should I massage the area or leave it alone? Bump that wasn’t there before today. Post Botox 4 days after. Will it go away on its own ?

Answer: Bump after injection If the bump is not at an injection site it likely has no relation to your Botox injection. If it is near an injection site I would contact your injector on how to proceed. It's difficult to determine the cause without an examination.

Answer: It is obviously hard to fully evaluate your bump without examining you Thank you for your question. It is obviously hard to fully evaluate your bump without examining you or at least seeing a photo of your face. In general, there are usually bumps at the Botox injection sites for a few hours after the procedure. In 15 years of injecting Botox in many locations on the body, I have never seen a bump related to Botox develop out of the blue on day 4. I would not massage it on your own, but rather I would have you contact your injector directly and have them see you in person to better evaluate the area. If the area is red, tender or warm to touch, I would make that contact ASAP. Best of luck!
