I am a 27 year old Canadian woman looking to have a BBL done in Miami. I would be staying in Miami 12 days post op. My health insurance through work as well as my visa (or any private insurance I've called) donot cover me in the event of a medical emergency related to elective surgery. What I am saying is if I have any complications during surgery or after during my 12 day stay and need to be hospitalized and treated, I am not covered. What do Canadians do for insurance?
