I want to have less of an egg shaped face. I feel like my temples are very wide. I want my cheekbones to look fuller and stick out more. I know you can get hair grafting to the temples, but can Botox shrink the upper top of my head. Here are examples below.

Answer: Botox to temple region I would not recommend Botox to the temples, it will not provide the look you are going for. Furthermore, an overly sculpted temple suggests aging, and is typically not desirable; by the same token, an overly full temple region in a female is also aesthetically undesirable. Hair transplantation likely isn't going to be the solution for you, either. Your best option would be to enhance the volume and definition of your cheeks using an injectable filler like Voluma or Radiesse. Seek out an experience cosmetic injectables specialist who understands facial anatomy and grasps exactly what you are looking for so you can safely achieve your goals. Best of luck!

Answer: Yes, it is possible to cause atrophy of the temple area (temporalis muscle). Thank you for your question. Yes, it is possible to cause atrophy of the temple area (temporalis muscle). This will take a few treatments to achieve this effect. However, the temple area is an area that you want to be more full than slim. Having narrow temples is sign of old age and long term illness and not beauty. I would suggest improving this area with a dermal filler such as, Voluma. I recommend having a consultation with an expert to determine the best treatment plan for you. Best of Luck!
