Both sound pretty similar - minimal downtime, local anesthesia, liposuction to suck out the fat and the tightening of the skin. How can I figure out which procedure is best for me?
Answer: Liposuction Candidate--VASER HI DEF 4D Liposculpture, ThermiRF/J Plasma/Renuvion/InMode BodyTite, fat grafting Body-Tite uses radiofrequency for skin tightening whereas J Plasma uses Helium plasma focused RF energy. However, for best results, a combination approach is needed. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermiRF/J Plasma/Renuvion/InMode BodyTite and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Similar tech, can be used for slightly different applications Thanks for your question! Some doctors are more comfortable with one or another, so definitely assess the results between both. I'm very comfortable with both and often use them in conjunction with one another to achieve different goals. I find more directional shaping is possible with the BodyTite whereas the JPlasma gives more overall contraction. Best of luck!

Answer: Bodytite vs J plasma Both technologies are similar in nature. Simply, these are tools for the doctor to achieve an end result. Some doctors prefer one over the other because in their hands the results are better than with the other device. Ultimately one is not necessarily better than another. The important question is how good are the results with either device in the hands of the doctor that is doing your procedure. In my practice, I use the Bodytite PRO. It has particular temperature control systems that make my results more reproducible in my hands.Regards, Dr. Ravi Somayazula Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery- American Board of Medical Specialties Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS)- Subcommittee Task Force on Patient Safety Member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS) Member of the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, Houston Society of Plastic Surgeons, Harris County Medical Society

Answer: BodyTite versus J-Plasma (Renuvion) Thank you for your question. I use both BodyTite and Renuvion (formerly J-Plasma) in my practice. Both devices are excellent for tissue and skin tightening. Selection of which device to use is based on examination of the patient. Both devices are combined with liposuction in most cases. BodyTite will destroy additional fat beyond that which I can achieve by liposuction alone whereas I don't find this to be the case with Renuvion. Renuvion is often better on larger areas because the energy is more dispersed. Best to seek out a consultation with a body sculpting expert.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.

Answer: BodyTite Thank you for your question. BodyTite is a minimally-invasive body contouring procedure that utilizes radio-frequency assisted lipolysis. It combines two successful technologies into a double-duty procedure that reduces fat while simultaneously tightening the skin. BodyTite reduces fat without leaving behind wrinkly or saggy skin thru the use of radio-frequency. Liposuction with J-Plasma is also a minimally invasive procedure that uses a device to deliver “helium plasma” energy through tiny incisions to the undersurface of the skin. For more information, please make sure you get a in person consultation from a board-certified dermatologist.
