I want to maintain the fat on butt from bbl . Is it helpful to eat more healthy fats and calories the first days (1-10 ) after bbl ? What can I eat to help my results ? I want opinions for the best nutrition after bbl
Answer: Is it a best to eat more healthy fats to maintain fat after a BBL? Maintaining your weight after your BBL is the key to maintaining your result. Once the fat cells have established in new blood supply in your buttocks, they should be permanent. As you gain and lose weight they will expand or shrink. I don't think it matters what you eat specifically, but maintaining weight is the key.

Answer: Is it a best to eat more healthy fats to maintain fat after a BBL? I recommend that my patients consume 100 grams of protein each day during the healing phase for the first six weeks following surgery. This protein can be in the form of manufactured premier protein shakes or optimum whey protein added to milk or water. The objective is not weight gain but promotion of healing. Maintaining a stable weight with a well balanced diet is reasonable advice.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

Answer: Fat viability Dear mar20,Fat viability depends a lot of surgeon technique. The fat has to be placed back into the buttocks as soon as possible so that it has a greater chance of survival. It has to be placed carefully so that not too much fat is placed in only one area. Every plastic surgeon has his own postoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery
