6 weeks post op BBL: is it normal to feel weird/uncomfortable sitting?

You are still in the healing phase, but the discomfort should ease up soon. I have observed that between 4 and 6 weeks the buttocks tend to stabilize in volume.  Usually by 3 months, the swelling is minimal and totally resolved by 6 months.  Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

Thanks for your question. It is normal to feel a little discomfort after weeks of mostly standing.  You will feel more comfortable as you continue to sit more. However, please continue to follow up with your plastic surgeon if you have any concerns.  All the best!
