Had bad filler done under my eyes, dissolved for 7 times and filler didn't go away, what can I do? (photos)

Question

I've had versa under my right eyes by unprofessional injectors on my tear trough, I don't have eye bags before, but after her bad work I have eye bags right now. After 7 times treatment of dissolve filler, some of the filler gone, but rest of it still lasting under my eyes. I feel like the Hylenex she injected to me was too light, it didn't work for me. But she refused to dissolve for me and yelled me at the phone told me not to come back and she won't injecting to me. What I can do right now?

Hi,

i would recommend going to another provider to have this dissolved. The under eyes is a tricky place to inject, but fortunately, revanesse is hyaluronic acid and can be dissolved. Additionally, you could do morphues 8 under the eyes to try and break up the filler and help with the puffiness, as well as tighten the under eyes,

In my experience with fillers, Versa is product that should never be used on the eyelids and I would shy away from using this filler because it may be difficult to completely reverse as was your experience. I would opt for more appropriate fillers such as Restylane or Belotero which may be more refined for detailed volumization of the lower lids.

I have had a lot of experience with botched Versa fillers and this may partially be due to the experience of the injector. There are many great filler choices out there including Juvederm and Restylane products so veer towards brands that are more established.

Based on your photos, it’s tough to see anything “bad” going on. The areas you circled are above your lower eyelid grooves, so you may be seeing orbital fat. Consider consulting another HA expert for advice moving forward. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph
