Is 20 too young for Revanesse and Belotero?

Revanesse Versa should not be performed on the eyelids based on my experience as the results would be suboptimal. I have performed dermal fillers using the many FDA approved brands and find that Revanesse Versa by Prolennium is not the optimal filler for this area. Swelling and migration are common with these areas and using a higher cross-linked option like Versa when compared to Belotero would be a mistake based on my experience with filler complications.

Belotero and Restylane are excellent options for this area. Choose wisely.

Thanks for your question. I would advise you to wait a few years - you are still young and have good strong active collagen and elastin in your skin. What you can do now is to use excellent sun protection every day on the entire face, neck, and hands, and always wear sunglasses when the sun is out. You could start some RF microneedling treatments in the delicate eye area if you are really concerned, and that might help thicken the skin and make hollows look less noticeable. Also using good eye creams with antioxidants and growth factors can be useful. Best of luck!

As far as safety and results, 20 would not be too young, although technically if its not approved under 21, there are other options that should be tried instead. I have had great success with Restylane & Juvederm products which have many years & millions of people treated & many many studies to support their use. More importantly than which filler, see a highly trained & experienced physician injector such as a dermatologist to ensure optimal results & safety as the tear trough is a particularly challenging area to treat (bruises & swells more, & more likely to need tweaking after).
