I'm interested in getting an Alarplasty but after seeing a lot of procedures turn out like the attached picture, I want to explore deeper what exactly it is that creates such a distinct, unnatural "disconnect" in the reattached alar walls and base. Is it simply the original shape of the nostrils that dictates how they will look after surgery? Or could it be where the surgeon cuts? I would like to know this because I am afraid of an alarplasty turning out with similarly unnatural looking results
