You probably had liposuction which contributed to irregular surface contours.  My recommendation would be a reshaping/recontouring procedure as shown in the abdominal gallery of our site.  These procedures are adjusted for each woman's particular presentation and desired result.  Cost is $7-$12K.

Tum. lipo under local with the micro canulas can fine tune almost every tummy easily and quickly but you need a lipo doc who is truly experienced and who occasionally stands patients up  during the procedure to fine tune  the results. Using the technique that was originally conceptualized for revision liposuction, SAFE lipo, you can get a great result. This isn't a machine or a gizmo, it is a description of a technique involving separating tissue prior to suction, suction, and finishing with fat equalization. Like all 'types' of liposuction, your results are not gotten by the machine, but by the surgeons training, skill, and experience. Dear New2000,I would have to examine you but it appears that this is a contour irregularity after liposuction.  This happens often when areas the undergo liposuction are not feathered appropriately.
The good news is that it can be fixed and I have done so with good results before. The revision can often be done under local as well.While there is always a chance for contour irregularities with liposuction, someone who takes their time and uses the appropriate sized cannulas should give you a superb result. I have all my patients wear compression garments and I use multiple sized cannulas to feather out the result.Daniel Barrett, MD

For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like a VASER liposuction revision. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermiRF/J Plasma/Renuvion/InMode BodyTite and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. In my experience, manual lymphatic massages by their own have proven successful, in the majority of cases, in achieving uniform removal of swelling and ensuring smooth contours after liposuction. However, after a 6 months recovery period has passed, persistent cases of irregularities due to excessive fibrosis may require a combination of touch-up VASER Liposuction along with Autologous Fat Transfer (AFT) to be adequately corrected. Surgeons can suction raised areas around the depression and fill in the depression with autologous fat grafts (from patient’s own body) to achieve the best possible, smooth contours. VASER Liposuction may be useful treatment for cellulite and may cause less contour irregularities (such as indentations, lumps and dimples). Depending on your particular situation, the price of VASER Liposuction with fat transfer may vary from $10,000 to $20,000 in the U.S. Cost factors for VASER Lipo with fat transfer include: your surgeon’s expertise and experience, where you have your surgery done (which country and city), the type of anesthesia or sedation that your surgeon uses, medications for your recovery, manual lymphatic drainage massages sessions, and your specialized compression garments and any other material needed to help you heal properly. You're an excellent candidate for Vaser liposuction revision.  Vaser is the only technology that allows for the removal of both superficial and deep fat layers.  This allows for maximum extraction of fat, giving you that ripped/toned appearance you desire.   As far as time, you can expect to be down for 2 weeks in which you'll come in for massages to drain access fluid to eliminate the possibility of lumps and bumps.  Contact a Vaser specialist, either in-person or via Skype/Facetime, to get a better understanding of your case and to discuss the cost.

I agree that if you want to improve your abdominal appearance, you will need a liposuction revision. I have found that many patients can get GOOD results with liposuction alone, and EXCELLENT results with IDEAL Liposuction! IDEAL Lipo is a proprietary technique that we have been developing for the past 12 years. First off, all devices and instruments used are FDA-approved, unlike many fat harvest and transfer devices beying used today. These procedures are typically performed in the office, with only local anesthesia (although patients can request deeper sedation, if they so desire). We typically use Smart / Laser Liposuction or VASER (ultrasound) to reduce dense, fibrous fat, and stimulate collagen formation; Radiofrequency-based skin tightening (like Body Tite, or Thermi) to maximize skin contraction; and Ultrasound, RF, or subcision (Z Wave, Venus, Cellfina) to treat cellulite. Patients go home the day of surgery; typically do not use any narcotics postop for pain control, and are back to light exercise and work 48 hours after their procedures. In my practice, we specifically evaluate patients for these additional treatments, and select the appropriate treatment based on their skin quality, amount of fat, previous treatment(s), and surgical goals.
