I am 6 weeks post op. Left book has 325cc mentor and the right has 350cc. I m till seeing my surgical bra. My surgeon asked if I wanted to keep the fullness on the right side to which I said yes. He instructed me to wear an underwire bra t 2 weeks post op. I couldn’t do it since it was just too painful for the left breast. The right is too dropped down while the left looks good. Should I start wearing sports bra to keep them in place and to hopefully stop the right to keep dropping?
Answer: 6 Weeks Post Op Breasts Uneven At 6 weeks you still have swelling, you need to wait 4 to 6 months to see your final result. Try to be patient and follow your surgeons post operative instructions. Good luck!

Answer: Breast Asymmetry Hello,What's clear is the nipple asymmetry more than anything else, and possibly implant position asymmetry, which has strong effect on nipple position. The problem is that photos are insufficient, especially when taken 'selfie style' with a phone camera. Bras, underwire or not, will not stop implants from moving where they want to go; it's a myth that surgeons believe in when they see implants at different positions. So, there is nothing to do right now. Eventually you may want a second opinion (something you can't get here on line), so go to a few ABPS certified/ASAPS member surgeons who specialize in revision breast surgery.

Answer: Breast Aug Results Thank you for your question. It is not uncommon to have swelling. Breasts may not heal at the same rate, causing one breast to appear different than the other. It can take up to 12 weeks for the implants to settle and you to see the final result. Follow up with your board certified surgeon to address your concern. Good luck!

Answer: Give it time Discuss what interventions your surgeon usually uses when an early underwire is still too sore. However, at 6 weeks you're roughly 15% internally healed so it is too soon to make judgement on what your final result will look like. Reassess around 4 months!Best of luck!

Answer: Breast Implants, Breast Implant Revision, Implant Size, Breast Augmentation Symmetry while Healing Congratulations on having undergone the breast augmentation procedure. 6 weeks is to early to determine your final result. I ask my patients to wait 3-6 months before evaluating the end results of adapt to the changes in their breast size and shape as well as their overall new body image. There is a significant percentage of patients at your stage of recovery who feel that they are too big or (more commonly) too small. And those emotional feelings can change daily turning this transitional time. Remember also that each side of the body heals at a different rate and that you weren't perfectly asymmetric to begin with, there will always be differences. and other factors must resolve completely before you can make that determination. They may seem completely different at week 6 and by week 8 much more in symmetry. Once the swelling around the implants has also resolved you can see the final result. Patients often report that they are happier with the implants' shape their cleavage and projection once these changes occur. I would suggest continued patience and continued close follow-up with your plastic surgeon. for an outcome that you will be pleased with long-term.
