They also get to see what they would look like when the implants have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. Hello, thank you for your question. A board certified plastic surgeon will be able to guide you to the correct size implant. Based upon measurements of your chest wall and breast imprint width as well as knowledge of all breast implant sizes and profiles should make this process easy. Try on a profile bra with various silicone cc sizers your PS recommends under a tailored blouse, tank top, bikini, workout clothes, and other garments you typically wear so that you have the best idea of whether the garments fit as desired with the implant selected. Select the size that boosts your self-esteem, and fits your anatomy. Choosing an implant based on an aesthetic goal that exceeds your anatomic capacity may lead to complications and possibly revision.

Go for the 450s- it's always a better choice to go with the larger of two sizes you are debating between- hardly anyone ever ever ever comes back and says they wish they had gone smaller!

Thank you for your question and photographs. I think you are starting from an excellent position and should anticipate a nice result. Breast implant selection is an exciting, but stressful part of the breast augmentation process as there are so many choices. Unfortunately it is impossible to recommend the best implant style, size or shape without an in-person examination that allows for the measurement of key breast parameters, as well as permits an in-depth discussion as to your desired goals and outcome. I would recommend continuing to discuss your concerns with your ASPS board certified plastic surgeon to ensure that the implants you decide upon are the right ones to meet your expectations. In most cases it is better to go with a larger size, but i would select whichever sizer looks best to you. Best wishes

It’s really up to you. But if you asked women who got implants most would say they wished they went bigger. I don’t have an opinion.

It’s not fair to make the patient decide on the final implant size- not even the surgeon knows EXACTLY which volume will give you the appearance you desire, so how could you know? First, there are so many factors that affect how your breasts will look that choosing 425 cc just because someone else with your height and weight looks good with that volume is an approximation at best. Second, the difference between using 415 or 450 is very small. Chances are high that if one of those will look good on you, so will the other with minor differences. By far the best solution for you is for your surgeon to have both implants available, and test which implant provides the results you’re seeking during surgery by using a sizer implant. Your surgeon would make the decision between those two sizes in surgery, rather than making you guess beforehand. I suspect you’ll be happy either way. Best of luck!

breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

Just based on your photos, you appear to have a fairly small frame, so I would recommend the smaller implant. You may find the heavier implant is too heavy on your neck and shoulders over time.

Thank you for your photo. I always recommend that patients choose the larger of two similar sizes. Patient's always regret going too small and wish they went bigger. Implants placed under the muscle are also slightly compressed so a 450cc will in fact look smaller once it is placed inside the body. Hope this helps!

Thank you for the question and photos and size is an individual decision based on measurements and putting implants in a bra till you see the volume on your chest that you like. So resize prior to surgery and get the right volume for you. That said most patients if they come back wish they had gone larger
