Should I go with 295cc full profile or 325cc? I’m 5’0", 105lbs (Photo)

Hi there, thank you for your question. If you want to achieve a natural look, 295 cc anatomic implants can be suitable. If you want to have a bit more upper pole fullness, then 325 cc is definetly recommended.

Thank you for sharing your question and photograph. I would try on both sizes in your surgeon’s office and select the one that best approximates your goals. There is not a large difference so if concerned about being too small, chose the 325cc implants. Best wishes!

The difference in size is equal to 2 tablespoons or 1 notch on your bra strap. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of former patients with similar measurements. My patients tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what is right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. Hello, as you have mentioned in your post, the difference in size between the two implants is very small so regardless of your choice the final result will likely be similar. In general, larger implants are associated with a higher risk of postoperative problems (rippling, numbness, etc) but again these implants are very close in size. Your own surgeon will be the best source of advice to finalize your implant selection since they have done a full assessment.

Hello, thank you for your question. Your board certified plastic surgeon will be able to guide you to the correct size implant. Based upon measurements of your chest wall and breast imprint width as well as knowledge of all breast implant sizes and profiles should make this process easy. Try on a profile bra with various silicone cc sizers your PS recommends under a tailored blouse, tank top, bikini, workout clothes, and other garments you typically wear so that you have the best idea of whether the garments fit as desired with the implant selected. Select the size that boosts your self-esteem, and fits your anatomy. Choosing an implant based on an aesthetic goal that exceeds your anatomic capacity may lead to complications and possibly revision.

Your surgeon used good judgement in recommending an implant with a diameter slightly narrower than your existing breast width diameter. That way, the edge of the implant is camouflaged by your own breast tissue and you will look more natural. However, the 325 cc with an 11.40 diameter is still within that same “safe” width so that the implants should look natural. What you want to avoid if you don’t want the outline of the implants to be too obvious is an implant with a diameter much larger than your own breasts. The bottom line is that the 325 implant should look fine, as long as you want to be a little fuller.

Actually, this decision depends on you and which size or how big you want them to be. I think 325 is a really big implant for you. 295 cc is a good size for you, would totally make a difference but wont look that huge as 325.

Make sure you get the surgery with a board-certified plastic surgeon.

breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

Hi. There is not a lot of difference between those two implants. You will have very good results regardless. But if you feel you want to go big, I recommend the 325cc implants.

Basically it is up to you. Both would be a good size. It just depends on the look you are going for.

P. S. Most patients do not regret going a little bit bigger. It is more common the other way around.
