BBL - compression garment and flying, does fat travel?

Follow your surgeon post op instructions since she/he is most familiar with your medical history and the procedure performed. I would recommend wearing the compression garment for 5-6 weeks after surgery and continue with massaging on the lipo areas.

Swelling usually is the worst ~14 days post op. Flying can make swelling even worse. I ask my patients to wear compression 24/7 for 4-6 weeks - only taking it off for the time it takes them to shower.

The fat transferred does not travel.

I recommend compression garments for two weeks and longer if patients find them useful.

At this point nothing is going to change your long-term final results.

If you find a compression garments useful then by all means go ahead and use them.
